Statutory & Legal Disclaimer
Last updated: October 2026 · Applicable to MediDeals® Web & Mobile Applications
1. B2B Technology Intermediary Status
MediDeals® (promoted by MediDeals Resources LLP) operates solely as an electronic Business-to-Business (B2B) technology intermediary platform under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. MediDeals® facilitates wholesale discovery, order routing, escrow advance collection, and logistics coordination exclusively between independent, licensed pharmaceutical businesses (manufacturers, C&F agents, wholesale distributors, and licensed retail pharmacies/hospitals).
MediDeals® does not manufacture, stock, compound, dispense, or sell medicines to retail consumers or patients. All commercial sale invoices are issued directly by the fulfilling licensed vendor/distributor to the purchasing licensed business entity.
2. Strict Prohibition of Consumer / Patient Sales (Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940)
Access to wholesale pricing, trade margins, and order placement on MediDeals® is strictly restricted to verified business entities holding valid statutory licences under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Rules, 1945 (such as Form 20, Form 21, Form 20B, Form 21B, or applicable state regulatory authorizations).
- No Medical Advice or Patient Dispensing: Nothing on the MediDeals® website or mobile applications constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation.
- Category-Specific Licensing: Allopathic and scheduled formulations (Schedule H, H1, X, G) are restricted strictly to valid Drug Licence holders. Businesses dealing exclusively in Ayurvedic, Siddha, Unani, Herbal, Surgical non-drug supplies, or FSSAI-regulated Nutraceuticals are restricted to their authorized non-allopathic categories.
3. Product Packshots, Trademarks & Catalog Information
Product names, brand titles, salt/molecule compositions, pack sizes, reference MRPs, and product packshot images displayed on MediDeals® are provided strictly for B2B trade identification and catalog reference by licensed chemists and distributors.
All pharmaceutical brand names, trademarks, and pack designs remain the exclusive intellectual property of their respective manufacturers or marketing authorization holders. Packaging designs may vary across manufacturing batches; the physical batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, and printed Maximum Retail Price (MRP) on the delivered stock and GST tax invoice shall govern every transaction.
4. User-Supplied KYC & Statutory Document Declaration
Every buyer and seller registering on MediDeals® warrants and declares that all uploaded statutory documents (Drug Licences, GSTIN certificates, PAN cards, FSSAI licences, and business address proofs) are authentic, active, unexpired, and lawfully issued to the registering business entity. Submission of forged, expired, or unauthorized third-party licences will result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of platform access, and reporting to the appropriate State Drug Control Administration.
5. Limitation of Liability
While MediDeals® enforces automated and manual compliance checks, MRP cross-validation, and escrow payment safeguards, the fulfilling seller bears sole statutory responsibility for drug quality, storage conditions (including cold-chain integrity where applicable), batch authenticity, and tax invoice accuracy under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and the Central/State Goods and Services Tax (GST) Acts.
